A beautiful story of pure, unadulterated love of two young people. Somewhat of a slow build up to the climax at the last 3-4 episodes. Older Saku (Naoto Ogata) is a bit of a stiff, which in my opinion, has taken a bit of the gloss from the drama. 綾瀬 はるか (Ayase Haruka), portraits Aki Hirose perfectly. Not as much as a tear jerker as "1 Litre of Tears", but after watching Crying out Love the first time, the 2nd viewing (highly recommended) will really tug on your heartstrings.
